As you can see, the K-27 - # 464 was out and running!  Running all day long, # 464 was a real crowd pleaser and all the steamers enjoyed a great ride after hours with stops for some good drive by footage.  We followed that with a nice pot luck dinner at the round house and a chance to get up close and check out this wonderful engine.

For those attending the Narrow Gauge Convention this year in Dearborn, Michigan, don't miss out on the chance to spend a day up at Crossroads Village with #464.  Call the convention administration number for details.

As a group we are also proud of the fact that two of our members helped to restore this engine.  Bill Kay volunteers every week to help get this engine going and maintain the other engines in the park.

Bob Weltyk donated his time and expertise by painting the #464 and the tender.

Many of you might know Bob from Weltyk Whistles.  It's a good thing these guys retired or they wouldn't have the time for so much fun.

I know their efforts are appreciated by many!
