There was non-stop running all day and I have the sun burn
to prove it! On Saturday viewers saw two BAGRS project locomotives,
two Accucraft Open Cab Shays, an Accucraft C-16 "Bumble Bee", a Marklin live
steamer, a Roundhouse Stanley Tram Engine, an Aster Mikado with a full
consist of heavy weights and an Accucraft K-27 with full passenger consist,
kit bashed to match the Huckleberry Railroad out of Flint Michigan.
After raining most of the night, the rain
stopped early and the temperature finally started to rise. Some
additional steamers arrived and we saw some new engines running on Sunday.
An Aster Flying Scotsman and a full consist of hand crafted passenger cars
arrived and were a big attraction. A rare Roundhouse Frederica also
made an appearance. A new member also brought his first engine to run,
a Accucraft Open Cab Shay.
