On November 22nd we held a club steam up to raise some funds for a fellow
steamer who's recent hardship helped us appreciate what we all take for
granted. So we held a steam up, put an empty can on the table for
anonymous donations and enjoyed the day. I am proud to say that even
members who were unable to attend sent over donations and we raised a few
hundred dollars to help Bob and his Family get back on their feet. As I
have seen many people post on-line, this is a great group of hobbyists we have
in our Live Steam family and it shows what the news rarely does: How
kind, caring and thoughtful most people are.
