steamup is a great time at a wonderful old station and an event not to be
missed.

May 31st & June 1st - Canterbury Village Steamup, Lake
Orion, MI - (Confirmed Steamup) This is a great event at a wonderful location with good shopping and
food in an Old World Village like location. This event has now become
a bi-annual event for us and we look forward to it every year. We will
have both of our portable tracks setup in a large tent for all weather
running. If you can't make it to this one, mark the September event on
your calendar. Canterbury is located in Lake Orion, Michigan. Just a few miles off of
I-75 and just North of Great Lakes Crossing. For more information on the Village visit:

Shay Days - Harbor Springs, MI
- (Members in Attendance) Great 3 day event celebrating the invention of the SHAY Locomotive on the
property of the inventor. If your into geared locomotives then you don't
want to miss this steamup. All Gauge One geared locomotives are
welcome. You can expect to see Shay, Heisler and Climax locomotives as
well as many one of a kind, hand built engines. Harbor Springs is a
beautiful location and a wonderful place to spend a long weekend. |

July 31st thru August 3rd - MSSLS Steamup &
Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad's Railfans Weekend - Flint, MI
- (Confirmed Steamup)
This is the big one!! This is the premier event
of the year for the MSSLS. Four days of running live steam locomotives
in 3 great locations. Thursday the 31st, Bob & Mary Weltyk will host a steamup
at his home in Waterford. Friday the 1st, John & Bev Fuller will host
a steamup at there home in Swartz Creek. Then Saturday and Sunday our
club will be hosting a steamup at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry
Railroad. Crossroads Village features a steam powered saw mill, cider mill and
many other attractions. Included in our event (for steamers) is an after hours ride,
with photo drive bys of their live steam locomotives and a pot luck dinner
in the round house. If you want to make it up to Michigan for one of
our events, this is definitely the event you want to be at! This year
will feature #464, one of the last running Mudhens, don't miss the ride!!
We will have a flyer posted soon for this great 4 weekend!
